Death by a relationship

Good day,   I have been thinking about Samson and how the women in his life made his life difficult. I asked myself why he would make such decisions i.e., choose those women in particular. I then decided to write something about it but then did not know how to start. So, I thought back on my own journey with the Lord and remembered that I have my own experience that I could share. This story / experience was an avenue that I believe the Lord used to reinforce His stance on the nature, as well as quality of relationships that we should   have / build as believers. Lessons from Delilah

Good day,   I am still in utter disbelief that I titled this blog “lessons from Delilah”. I mean, we all know that Delilah did Samson dirty, what could we possibly learn from the girl? So, my pastor has been teaching a series on Samson; well, it started as a teaching on the various judges but then slowly became a series on perhaps the most notable judge recorded specifically in the book of Judges: so (as I wave my hands in surrender), no shade to Samuel, I know that he was exceptional but this is solely looking at the judges recorded in the Book of Judges. Now that I am done overexplaining myself  😊 , let’s get to it.   As I was saying, we have been learning about Samson, and Delilah is one of the key figures in the story because of the role she played in the capturing of Samson by the Philistines.
